Flaunting them but not mine!

Got 2 days break from babysitting last Thursday and Friday, so my friend Noni and I went visiting our friends in Muar, a small town in the southern state of Johore. The main purpose was actually to savour the local food there before the fasting month of Ramadhan, the gluttons we are!

I couldn't help myself, snapping away when we went over to our friend Som's small garden especially her orchids and euphorbia millis.

some striking colours of foliage

Then last but not least, blooming at the R&R stop at Seremban along the highway were the lovely plumbago....

Happy Weekend!

Definitely worth flaunting, even if they're not yours. Such gorgeous Orchids and the Euphorbia is a brilliant colour.

Your friend do have a green thumb to be able to grow such a variety of flowering orchids. I have 3 orchids in my garden and none is flowering now :(

Selamat berbuka puasa!

Thank you Joyce for your Ramadhan wishes. Too bad they are not mine Joyce, although I have blooms in my garden, they hve been featured here a few times.

Salam Ramadhan to you too.Makrimi, the light blue ones are Dendrobiums? They looked so beautiful and delicate.Yes I think all my friends little garden had some lovely orchids. I bet yours would be so awesome to see!

Thanks Deb, nice of you to drop by.

Thank you Karin.

Thanks Bernie I wish they were mine!

Same here Autumn Belle, I guess growing orchids need a lot of dedication, Im not very patience!

The first 9 photos are orchids Mary, in our hot tropical weather here, they need a bit of shade to flower nicely.

Thanks Clipped Wings, though they were not mine...I couldnt help admiring them too!

you are lucky to be able to visit this anytime!
It does my heart good to tour around the gardens that are linked into my little party...I so wish every one of the people who share lived close enough that I could walk the gardens in person. Thank you so much for sharing with me this week...I hope you will again very soon!
Hugs and smiles from Alberta Canada to you!
